Xeon processors are most commonly used in Server & Workstation computers and are designed to perform well under heavy workloads. Unlike Intel's 'Core' consumer line of CPU's, the 'Xeon' series are designed to handle multi-threaded workloads, thus providing great multitask performance. Xeon processors are less focused on single core tasks, and a workstation with a professional graphics card isn't built for gaming. If you want a desktop that can also handle games, browse our refurbished Gaming PCs, which include workstations fitted with gaming graphics cards. If you're looking for more information regarding the different Xeon processors, and their use-cases, please visit Xeon processors webpage on the Intel website.
